So, this is the tenth story from the Alteruvium Expanse. I’ve now definitively concluded that two weeks is too long to wait. That being said it’s only two weeks until my story, Asteroidea, is released. Too long…
If you’ve enjoyed the stories from the Alteruvium Expanse, please can I ask that you take a moment to leave a review? It doesn’t have to be an essay, something short and simple is appreciated just as much. There are only two more stories to be released and your reviews show us that it’s been worth doing. Without them, we may move on to other projects and leave you will a huge Alteruvium shaped hole in your life.
Well, you’ve waited long enough, so let’s get right to it.
The Earth is dying and Rachael is ready, but when her twin sister, Becca, forces her to switch places and take her spot on the last ship, she has to decide whether she can go through with it.
The Croneshaw Corporation is taking a selection of humanity off Earth so that it can save the species. Only young families of reproductive age have been selected. Rachael will need to convince everyone that she is her sister, even Becca’s children and husband.
She only has to keep up the pretence for three weeks, after that it will be too late to turn back. Everything has to be perfect if she has any hope of saving Becca’s family.
