The 100 Days Project

“Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.” – Stephen King

This quote from Stephen King is very much at the heart of the 100 Days Project. The idea is to do the same thing every day for one hundred days. It’s a great way to prove to yourself that you don’t need to wait to be inspired, you’ve just got to go out and find it.

I learnt about this project in 2014 when the company I worked for sponsored it. A call was put out to find employees that would be willing to enter and partner with the project in more ways than one.

Well, how could I possibly say no? Challenge accepted. Now, there are many ways to complete the 100 Days Project. Some people take a photo every day, some knit, or create origami sculptures. Not me.

I decided to create a new and unique cartoon character every day. Part of my reasoning was that we were expecting our first son and this would eventually become an awesome custom colouring book for him.

So, anyhow, without further ado, here is my completed project – 100 Crazy Friends
