That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime (Episodes 5-8)

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Banner

The goblin village continues to grow under the guidance of the dwarves and a fortune foretold comes to be.

What’s happened since last time?

The fourth episode ending with Rimuru having a drink with the dwarves in the sexy elf bar. Thankfully, the fifth episode continued there. One of the elves looked into a crystal ball and showed Rimuru the person he was going to spend his life with.

Then some jerk dumped his beer on Rimuru and the head dwarf knocked him out. A quick trial letter and Rimuru and the dwarves were banished, which was handy as they’d just agreed to go help Rimuru with his goblin settlement.

Then we met Rimuru’s life partner and she’s also from Earth but hides a deadly secret within. She does her best to contain it, but loses control and puts everyone’s lives in danger.

Have your feelings changed?

After the first four episodes, I loved it. I still do. It was a little slow through a couple of episodes but then the seventh and eighth with Shizu were awesome, heart-breaking, and incredible all at once. This is easily going to be one of my favourite shows of the season, maybe even the year…

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Shizu

Who was your favourite character so far?

Still Rimuru. He is just so cool, especially when being attacked by a fire demon. Looking forward to seeing how his kingdom grows and when he avenges Shizu. That demon lord is going to get a kicking he won’t soon forget.

Who do you want to see more of?

There are lots of characters in the opening sequence and we’ve only seen a few of them. Looks like Rimuru is going to continue to add to his group and I can’t wait. Also, the Goblin King with his muscle flexing his hilarious.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Efrit

Are you going to continue watching?

Without a doubt. I can’t wait for the next four episodes and then the season after that. It has action, fantasy, magic, a cool over-powered but nice character, and clearly lots of dangers ahead.
