If he’s going to unite the Forest of Jura,
What’s happened since last time? When we left off at the end of episode twelve, Gabiru had overthrown his father to become the leader of the lizardmen, only to lead them into dire circumstances against the orc army.
Finally, Rimuru steps in and takes care of business once and for all. Now, to unite the monsters of the Forest of Jura and relax. Well, until the dwarf king shows up and demands to test Rimuru. Satisfied with what he finds, he offers Rimuru an alliance between their nations, forcing Rimuru to come up with a name on the spot…
Have your feelings changed? I loved this part of the series. Even when Rimuru is doing oddly disturbing things in battle, he still manages to turn them into genuinely touching moments, for example, whilst devouring the orc-lord, he freed to orc of their hungry and then brought them into his empire. I am really enjoying this approach to conquering the world.
Favourite character so far? Obviously, it’s still
Who do you want to see more of? Now, I need to see more of Milim and how she affects the dynamics of the group, especially as she appears to be more powerful than Rimuru, but not quite as sharp. Plus, it’s always great to see someone taking some wardrobe risks. It’s the return of the butt-cleavage!
Are you going to continue watching? As I said, I am loving this series. It’s a ton of fun and really refreshing.
