Rimuru continues to unite the monsters of the forest, building on the success of the goblin village, but a sinister threat approaches, one that will test the limits of his powers.
What’s happened since last time? It picks up from the last round with Rimuru trying out a number of different human forms based on Shizu. He settles on the original form he’d selected and decides to try out his taste-buds. The hobgoblins prepare a feast to celebrate Rimuru eating with them for the first time.
While hunting for the feast the hobgoblins are attacked by a small group of ogres, resembling samurai warriors. Rimuru rushes to help and ends up as the focus of their attacks. He makes quick work of them, showing off some impressive new skills, before convincing them to stop their attack.
Rimuru invites them back to his village where he discovers that the ogres were attacked by a massive army of orcs and that they are the only survivors. They agree to join Rimuru to get vengeance for their fallen kinsmen. A dryad approaches Rimuru asking him to slay the orc-lord and save the forest.
When the World Government executed notorious pirate Gol D. Roger he announced that he’d hidden all his treasure in one place and whoever finds it gets to keep it all. This saw the beginning of the Great Pirate Era and, like most others, you would Probably love to make that treasure your own.
To do that, you’re going to need a crew. Admittedly, this is based on my experience watching One Piece, however, you don’t have to have seen One Piece to join in. You will need to assemble a crew from the anime you’ve seen, selecting the best character for the positions.
Where would we be without rules. So, here they are:
UHDisplay the My Pirate Crew logo and add ‘My Pirate Crew’ as a tag.
Thank the blogger who nominated you and post a link to their blog.
Link back to the original post here (so I can compare your crews to mine).
Select seven anime characters and give them a position on the crew. These are the positions you can to fill. Warrior, sniper, chef, doctor, scientist, navigator, strategist, mechanic, entertainer.
Nominate 5-10 bloggers.
Set sail and rule the seas!
Admittedly, I announced my crew in my Sunday Sevens list post. You can see my reasoning behind why I selected them here – Sunday Sevens: My Pirate Crew.
Nominations: All right, now for some nominations. It’s fine if you don’t want to build a pirate crew. I won’t be offended. If you do, great. I can’t wait to see who you select and why. No pressure, but my crew will be unstoppable!
Sakura was struck by a truck and killed instantly, so ending her dreams of becoming an idol… or at least that’s what should have happened. Reanimated as a zombie, she has one last chance to make it!
What did you watch and why? We all know that I can’t help myself when it comes to zombies. It doesn’t matter what it’s about, if it’s got zombies, I’m there. Admittedly, I was a little worried going into this one. I had not seen any idol anime shows before and, well, let’s just say it’s not my normal type of show.
What’s it about? Sakura was a high school student on her way to try out for a new pop idol group when she was hit by a truck and killed. She wakes some time later all alone in a spooky house. With no memories of her life before this moment, she explores the houses, stumbling into several zombies.
If you’re going to be King of the Pirates, you’ve got to assemble an outstanding crew. This would be my crew…
What is this about? As of tomorrow, I will have been watching One Piece for an entire year. That’s one episode a day, every day and to celebrate this landmark, I’ve decided to pick my own pirate crew from the other anime I’ve seen. Therefore, I can’t pick anyone from One Piece, that would be too easy.
Unless your familiar with One Piece, you’re probably wondering what positions there are to fill in a pirate crew. As far as I can tell, you will need a warrior, a sniper, a chef, a navigator, a strategist, a scientist, a doctor, a mechanic, and an entertainer.
That’s a total of nine positions, excluding the captain and that’s me anyhow, but this is Sunday Sevens. Well, worry not, a member of the crew can fill multiple positions if necessary. So, let’s get on with it and recruit my crew.
What did you draw this week? Back in week 1, I also received a request from Winter, suggesting either Eureka from Eureka Seven or Arin from Trinity Seven. Now, I’ve not seen either of those series, sorry Winter, so I jumped onto Google images and checked them out.
This is again where I shall apologise to Winter, as I was looking through the images of Arin from Trinity Seven I kept noticing this redhead in the background. Something compelled me to further my search and long story short, I drew Lilith from Trinity Seven instead.
There is a good reason for this… well, just look at her. Other than the obvious, it seems like a good picture to prep me for a little project I’ve been planning for a while. If you read my Make It Anime post, you may know what I’m talking about. Anyhow, I’m going to start work on character sketches for a gender-flipped version of Predator. If they look good, maybe I’ll even turn them into a light novel!
Anyhow, here’s Lilith!
Once more, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, but this one wasn’t as straight forward as Albedo. When I did my first outline, I accidentally made the torso far too long and it looked stretched. I was seconds away from starting again when I remembered to put my eraser to good use.
Want to see me draw someone or something (I’m prepared to draw mecha or monsters too) then put in the comments and I’ll see what I can do.
