Before the And

Obviously, lots of things happened before January 1, 2017. I didn’t just appear out of nowhere with a website and start writing. Over the next two weeks, I’m going to try and get you up to speed. This is not going to be an autobiography, don’t worry I won’t bore you with all the details. This is just going to be some selected things that I think set me on this path.

Come close, I’ll let you in on a little secret. I published my first title on January 30, 2016. Then I published another on February 29, 2016, and then another on April 23, 2016. They were the first three parts of a series of short stories. My plan was to release a new story in the series each month, but I ended up moving city and having to find a new job so everything else got put on hold. Continue reading “Before the And”

And so it begins…

Ominous, right. Well, that’s what I was going for anyway. The thing I love about that small sentence is the ‘And’. As with all beginnings, there had to be something prior. Nothing just appears out of nowhere and begins. It’s kind of a great analogy for my writing career. A whole bunch of stuff happened prior to this point, but I’ve arbitrarily decided that this is the beginning. Maybe, it’s just the point I started to take things seriously.

So, I am Lynn Sheridan. Now, before you ask, I am not the fictional character portrayed by Katherine Heigl in The Ringer. That’s just a weird coincidence.
