Children of the Whales – Season One

The endless sand sea stretches out in every direction. The Mud Whale, a mobile island, aimlessly drifts through the sand. Normal life for the inhabitants is put on hold when a new island drifts into view. It has been six months since the last one.

The majority of the inhabitants of the Mud Whale are ‘Marked’ giving them access to incredible supernatural abilities but abnormally short life spans. Chakuro, the village archivist and one of the ‘Marked’, goes with an expedition to the new mysterious island in search of supplies.

Author Journey April 2018

April has been a crazy month. Sleep is at a premium, but I’m pushing forwards. Actually, I’ve been very productive. I have my story for the Alteruvium Expanse coming out on June 11 and I decided to capitalize on this by starting the release for Valiant Lineage on June 15.

That has meant that I have a lot of loose ends to tie off before then. I have a list and I’m working my way through it. So far, it’s going very well. I finished the final proof for Asteroidea (that’s my story for the Alteruvium Expanse) and will have that ready to go up for pre-order in early May.

On top of that, I have put together a prequel story for Valiant Lineage that I will give away for free if you sign up for my mailing list. It’s called a mailing list, but don’t worry it’s only going to be me talking to you about new releases, special offers, and zombies… I will never recommend a book or product that I haven’t read/watched and don’t genuinely love. Overlord – Season Two

Lord Ainz Ooal Gown is looking to expand his influence over the land of Yggdrasil. He has identified the countries and their intents, looking for their strengths and weaknesses. Haha! Their weaknesses are that they pale in significance next to Ainz Ooal Gown and his servants.

His first goal is to concur the land occupied by the Lizardmen. He has entrusted Cocytus with completing this task, although it’s not as straightforward as he may assume. The Lizardmen band the five different tribes together in an attempt to stave off Cocytus’ army of the dead.

In Re-Estize, Sebus and Solution remain undercover, researching the city and its occupants. Sebus has a chance encounter where he rescues a badly injured woman from a brothel. Under the influence of his creator, he takes her in and promises to protect her. Continue reading “Overlord – Season Two”

Call Me M by B.K. Boes

Another two weeks have passed and that means it’s time for another fantastic addition to the Alteruvium Expanse. I am really enjoying the variety of the genres and styles in these stories. There’s definitely been a lean towards science fiction although there’s more to them than just genre.

So far, we’ve had a Retriever, a Sun Mage, a Gambler, a Soldier, a Mechanical Titan, a Conman, and a Protector. Impressive isn’t it, and to think we’re only halfway through. If that’s not enough, then trust me, there is a lot more to come.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned the price of these stories until now, so, here you go. They are all 99p/99c or your local equivalent and all are in the Kindle Unlimited program. So, if you have a subscription to Kindle Unlimited, you can read all of them for free. If that’s not cool enough, keep an eye on my Twitter feed for giveaways with the Alteruvium Expanse.

That’s a lot to think about, so why don’t I just introduce you to the eighth story in the Alteruvium Expanse. Continue reading “Call Me M by B.K. Boes”
