What’s it about? Futaro is a hardworking student, dedicated to his studies, and completely broke. Most of his time is scheduled around his exams, but when an opportunity appears to tutor a student at five times the going rate he can’t say no.

Then, to his horror, he discovers that the student is the girl he had an unfortunate run-in with at lunch. Hinomaru Sumo – Go Fourth (Episodes 13-16)

Hinomaru trains with a former Yokozuna whose methods really aren’t for everyone, but with Nationals coming up, he better make it count!

What’s happened since last time? Hinomaru and Chizuko have been invited to join a former Yokozuna for training. Chizuko isn’t quite sure why she’s there or what she’s got herself into, but is willing to help Hinomaru. That seems to be his gift. His passion inspires those around him to help.

Upon completing their training, they rejoin the others and head home to prepare for Nationals. Everyone has taken something from the training camp with Oyakate’s stable. Kunisaki even approaches a rival wrestler for help and is ready to shock the sumo world.

Nationals get underway and Hinomaru quickly shows how much he’s grown before coming up against the number one ranked high school wrestler in Japan. He’s in for the fight of his life and all the supporters can do is hold onto their seats and try to remember to breathe.

Sunday Sevens: My Adventurer Party

I’m going on an adventure. There’s going to be dragons and monsters, and goblins and orcs… Guess, I better put a party together then!

What is this about? A little while back I put together a pirate crew made up of anime characters and then turned it into a tag. Watching more and more bloggers post their own pirate crew has been incredible. I never imagined there would be so much uptake from. So, thanks to everyone that has taken part or is thinking of taking part.

So, back to what’s going on here. Well, I was recently tagged by Matthew at Matt-in-the-Hat when they put together their second pirate crew. Getting tagged in a tag post that you created is pretty cool, but rather than put together another pirate crew, I’m switching it up a little bit by putting together an Adventurer’s Party.

As this is a Sunday Seven post, I’ll be selecting seven anime characters to join me on a quest using the standard Dungeons and Dragons character classes. They are Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard. If you’re interested in what makes up each class, I’ve included the Wiki link above.

It’s time to recruit some adventurers!

Saturday Sketches: Week 9

“No matter what I do I will always be forgiven. Why, you ask? It is because I am beautiful!!!”

What did you draw this week? She slipped into my mind without me noticing and now she won’t leave. Also, given how many episodes of One Piece I’ve now seen, it only seemed right that I should draw someone from the series.

Ironically, she’s only recently appeared in the series after more than four hundred episodes and already I think she’s one of my favourites. I did want to draw her looking down on others as that’s kind of a classic pose, however, it probably wouldn’t look as good as the pose I chose.

Instead, I went with the pose of Boa Hancock sitting on her snake throne. So, here it is. Enjoy!

The Promised Neverland (Episode 8)

It looks like Sister Krone has got her dream job and is heading out, but what does this mean for the escape plans?

What did you watch? This was episode eight of The Promised Neverland and… wow! I’m going to try to keep this opening spoiler free, so all I’m going to say is if you haven’t seen this one yet, do not forget to blink or breath. The tension has been building for several weeks now and there’s only so much it can hold before exploding.

For me, this was the best episode yet. Even better than episode one and unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know what happened there. Anyhow, I can’t wait any longer. The spoilers will start now…

What happened? Mom had given Sister Krone a letter and stood blankly before her as she opened it and digested the contents. Damn, that woman has a poker face and a half. Anyhow, it turns out that Krone has been awarded a Mom position at a different plant and she must leave immediately.
