Endro! (Episodes 5-8)

The emergence of the hero has been noticed by the princess. She’s a hero party fan-girl and is determined to help them in any way she can, even if they don’t need her help.

What’s happened since last time?

The hero party has a new fan and it’s none other than Princess Rona Pricipa O’Lapanesta… She promptly made her way to the adventurers guild where she enrolled so that she can get closer to the hero party. Then, in an attempt to see the hero party performing at full strength she stages her kidnapping and has the teacher ‘pretend’ to be a demon lord.

Have your feelings changed?

It’s a fun and easygoing sort of series, but I really don’t think it’s for me. Everything is fine and safe, which kind of gets boring. Yes, there are some funny moments, but even they don’t last that long. At one point I got excited because I thought the princess could end up being the next demon lord in a weird twist, but I don’t think that’s the vibe this series is going for.

Who was your favourite character so far?

It’s still Fai, especially as she dragged the princess on a wild weekend where they camped out and then took part in a bizarre melon eating contest. The other members of the hero party are fun too, but it’s still all so cute and safe.

Who do you want to see more of?

Like I said, I’d like for the princess to become the next demon lord, she already has the castle, and there to be a big twist and then a battle. That’s what I want, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

Are you going to continue watching?

Only because there are only four episodes left. It doesn’t annoy me as much as many other shows have, but it feels like a background in that you could let it run in the background and not really miss much. I’m not saying this is a bad show, it’s just not really my sort of thing.
