Otaku on Writing Podcast (Episode 10)

This week on Otaku on Writing, we discuss our stories inspired by The Guyver and I think we may be onto something. It was also my turn to pick the next anime and I choose one of my first – Project A-ko.

One line pitch! It’s a parody of everything anime…

Any other news? Keep an eye out for the next Otaku Stories – Symbiote. I think it’s going to be the best one yet!

And now for our regularly scheduled entertainment…

Otaku on Writing Podcast (Episode 9)

It was brutal. In the last episode, we discussed The Guyver. Sadly, it didn’t live up to the memories. Not even close. In fact, it was a bit of a train wreck. That said, I think we’ve come up with a lot of very good ideas for the next collection of stories.

One line pitch! This mangled corpse of a show…

Any other news? No news, just listen to the podcast. It’s a really good one!

And now for our regularly scheduled entertainment…

One Piece (Season Seven)

The Straw-hat pirates left Skypiea by sailing over the edge and plummeting back to the blue sea. A helpful sky octopus latches on to the Going Merry and slows their descent. As the air pressure changes, the octopus struggles to remain inflated and ultimately drops them down to the sea.

They land in the middle of the heavily fortified Marine base, Navarone. There the Straw-hats split up and sneak around the base, trying to find a way to get back to the open seas. Base commander Jonathan, a devious strategist has plans to catch them and restore glory to his crew.

On a strange island where everything is long, the Straw-hat pirates encounter the Foxy pirates and agree to a Davy Back, a series of games where the winning team can steal a member of the team and add them to their crew. Continue reading “One Piece (Season Seven)”
