Following a worldwide disaster, humanity fled the Earth to DEVA, a space station that houses a digital universe. The humans have given up their physical bodies, their consciousness digitized so that they can exist with the virtual universe.
Angela Balzac, a DEVA security officer, is closing in the notorious hacker known as ‘Frontier Settler’. Yes, her surname is pronounced ball-sack… get your head out of the gutter… She is sent down to Earth to locate and extinguish the threat. Continue reading “Expelled from Paradise”
Britannia has fallen to the Holy Knights, the very organisation tasked with protecting the kingdom. The King has been removed from power, but all hope is not lost. His daughter, Elizabeth has escaped the city and is searching for a notorious group of outlaws known as the Seven Deadly Sins.
She finds the leader, Meliodas running a bar. He saves her from a Holy Knight and agrees to put the Seven Deadly Sins back together to help her regain control of the kingdom, not least because he’s a bit of a perv… Continue reading “The Seven Deadly Sins – Season 1”
“Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.” – Stephen King
This quote from Stephen King is very much at the heart of the 100 Days Project. The idea is to do the same thing every day for one hundred days. It’s a great way to prove to yourself that you don’t need to wait to be inspired, you’ve just got to go out and find it.

Beside us, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles discussed tactics, a group of robots jostled to the front of the group, and the Speedo Cops limbered up. Some things you just can’t unsee.
A screech pierced the air. All heads turned. The zombies were coming. Soaked in blood with flesh hanging from its face, it lumbered towards us. A second zombie, clutching a megaphone, approached. It gurgled and crackled. Then the sound became clear.
Five. Four. Three. Two. One. A shrill sound erupted and we were off. The bloody zombie snarled and snapped as it charged towards us. I skipped around its lunge and launched myself across the muddy trench. Scrambling up the other side, I glanced back as it turned its attention to the other runners. A long time ago in a land far, far away… alright it was England, so not really that far away, and the year was 2011. That seems like a long time ago. So much has happened since then but will get into that later.
Right now I want to tell you about Film-Year. I’ll give you a second to guess what it might entail. It’s fairly obvious once you know. Any ideas? Alright, that’s enough time. Continue reading “Film-Year”
